Sustainability Statement

Complexity and global interdependencies are transforming our society faster than we ever believed.

Sustainability in everything we do, especially as an industrial company, is of paramount importance with regard to the world we leave to our children.
Veratron AG, management and employees, have been committed for years in the fields of ecology, economy and social issues and thus make their contribution.

We will continue to do so in the future.

    ECOLOGY

Our customers rely on Veratron products and services whilst outdoors - whether on water or land. To maintain this, we are committed to protecting the environment in all aspects of our business operations. We are constantly striving to improve our performance. Since 2005 our
company is certified according to ISO14001. This means that we meet all the required standards and beyond. Our products and production processes fulfil the highest environmental standards such as ROHS, Reach, prop 65
and others. Annual internal and external audits are undertaken and motivate us to continuously improve all included aspects such as recycling, energy consumption, emissions, etc. To this end, we set ourselves new challenging goals every year. Some of our products are used directly in vehicles that enable emission-free mobility. This gives us the satisfaction that our business is also helping our customers to achieve sustainability with their product line-up.

    ECONOMY

For us, sustainable economic management means using resources responsibly and ensuring, as far as possible, that their origin is traceable and that their production itself is subject to the high standards to which we commit ourselves. For us, responsible use of resources means ensuring that as much of the waste materials as possible can be recycled, that energy is obtained from sustainable sources, that the issue of sustainability is included in our sourcing decisions, e.g. in the question of transport routes, and that an appropriate selection of raw materials is incorporated into the product design at a very early stage. In addition, our business model is also characterized by the fact that our products are extremely durable and can be used by end customers for an equally long time. This is also reflected in our operational processes, which are optimized to ensure that investments can be used for as long as possible.

    SOCIAL

Our Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) policy determines the company-wide principles for clean and safe factories. All persons working in the company are to be protected from accidents and work-related illnesses, and even more, their health is to be actively promoted. Management supports this approach with regular internal inspections of factories and workshops and there is an annual program aimed at promoting the
health of our employees. With training and development measures financed by the company, we ensure that our employees are always able to adapt to the requirements of changing circumstances, regardless of their age. Our social but also cultural commitment includes the support of institutions and projects in our region.
