Detailed Information
The benefits of measuring accurate wind speed and direction is crucial for a better and safer navigation, and thus the basis for a more enjoyable sailing journey.
The Veratron Wind Sensor is designed to provide reliable measures and to guarantee a long service in the field even in the harshest weather conditions.
It provides a fast response to changes in the wind conditions thanks to the contactless constructive method, which minimizes the rotational friction of the wind vane and rotor cups.
Despite the complex technology behind the scenes, the Veratron Wind Sensor is delivered as a plug-and-play unit to the user: the NMEA 2000 M12 connector easily plugs into any standard drop cable and all the wind data are instantly transmitted to your on-board network.
